NJ State Law requires anyone operating a motorized vessel to have a Boating Safety Certificate.

9.9hp 16' Skiff with or without a Bimini Top (5 People)
A Boating Safety Certificate is required to operate any motorized vessel in the State of NJ. Absolutely NO “pink slips” will be accepted for pontoon rentals at the Oceanic Marina.
Pontoon operator/driver must be minimum of 30 years old. Boating experience is required to rent.
Full payment is due at time of reservations for all rentals. A CC must also be kept on file for incidentals at time of rental.
Cancellation Policy for all Boat Reservations: A full refund will be given up until 48hrs prior to reservation. 75% refund will be given for 24hrs notice. 50% refund will be given for same day cancellation. No call/no show will result in no refunds or date changes. Date changes can be made without cancellation charges if made prior to 48hrs of reservation.
In-climate Weather Policy: Safety is our priority—if the weather is going to be to unpredictable or unsafe for boating (this includes strong winds) we will not allow any rentals to go out. Should you have a reservation with us and we don’t think conditions will be safe, we will call to reschedule or refund your reservation if an alternate date can not be worked out. If you choose to go out and there is a chance of rain and it rains—no refunds will be given and/or reservation date will not be switched.
Kayaks and SUPs are first come first serve.
Must be 21 & have boating safety certificate to rent 9.9hp skiffs.
Last skiff, kayak, SUP rentals go out at 1:45pm
